Registration for the Arthropod Genomics Symposium June 2024 in Nairobi Kenya is now live!
Overview
For the first time in Africa, the symposium focuses on new insights gleaned from analyzing arthropod genomes and is designed for scientists interested in genomic studies of Arthropods, including arthropod vectors of disease, model organisms, and those of agricultural / veterinary relevance. The program will include a welcome banquet and key-note address, arthropod genomics-related poster sessions. A few posters abstract submissions will be selected for platform presentations. Postdoctoral, graduate, and undergraduate students are encouraged to attend.
Optional workshops include a four-day VectorBase pre-meeting handson workshop, an Apollo gene curation training/gene curation-a-thon, and a morning safari in Nairobi National Park. On-site accommodation packages available. Registration includes lunches, dinners, and tea breaks.
